Other Components of the High School Youth Ministry Program Welcome to the St. Theresa's Youth Ministry Program! Some of you are wondering what the Youth Ministry Program is. Is it a cult with Rich as the leader? We think not! St. Theresa's Youth Ministry is a program designed to allow you to hang out and have fun while learning about the big man - God. Our Jr. High and High School Youth Ministry Program is open to everyone between seventh and twelfth grade whether you are catholic or not. So come on down, stop in, and join us on a journey into the unknown!!!
High School Youth Ministry Program St. Theresa’s High School Youth Ministry Program is open to ALL students in High School, grades 9 thru 12. The program meets regularly each Sunday night during the school at 7:30pm in the Upper Room, the Youth Groups own area set aside strictly for it to meet in. The Upper Room is located in St. Theresa’s School Gym. At a regular Sunday night Meeting, we open at 7pm, and get started around 7:30pm. A nights meeting includes games, discussions, a presentation or talk on a particular subject, prayer and more. Most meetings are planned and run by high school students themselves. The comprehensive program is coordinated the Youth Minister along with a group of adults and teens called the TEAM. The program uses the recommendations outlined by the National Conference of Catholic Bishops through the "Renewing the Vision" document to create a program that tries to address all the needs of today’s Catholic teens. The High School Youth Ministry Program sponsors many trips, social events, Service Projects and Spiritual Experiences during the year.	Hands When you enter the Upper Room across the way you may notice a cross painted on the wall surrounded by hands. These hands are the work of Youth Group Members who have left their mark in the upper room. Every month you will have a chance to contribute to the wall of hands. All you have to do is go back to the years of kindergarten, cover your hands in paint, and place them on the wall.
	Weekly E-mails On Thursdays this year.. all High School members will be receiving these weekly e-mails in the hope that it will keep Youth Ministry Members informed about what is going on in the future and when deadlines are. We hope that all members try to obtain e-mail addresses based on the fact that it is the easiest way to send messages fast. We encourage all members to obtain free e-mail accounts such as HOTMAIL or YAHOO and if available access it through your school or home computers.
	Rappin with Rich II Held on the SECOND Thursday night from 7 to 9 pm. This is time for members to just stop by.. hang out.. grab a slice of pizza and just talk about what's going on in their lives. Topics vary from each month.
	Le Rendezvous with Rich Held on the FOURTH Thursday night at a local food establishment, we gather together at random 6 to 8 members of the program to join Rich and Fr Lito for dinner. While enjoying each others company we get a chance to hear some of your thoughts on youth group and what you'd like to see done ,etc.
	ABS (Advent Bible Study) During Advent this year for 4 consecutive Tuesday nights we will be offering a Bible Study on Advent and Christmas Themes. Come and be reminded on the "Reason for the Season!"
	LBS (Lenten Bible Study) During Lent we will gather for three consecutive Tuesday nights to discuss the Passion and its different accounts in the Bible.
