St Michael Church:, Cranford, is sponsoring a 4 week Lenten Scripture Series focusing on St. Paul’s Letter to the Philippians, which will be used as a guide to understanding Paul’s message about Jesus and its relevance for us as disciples. The series will be held on Monday nights February 11, 18, 25 and March 3, 7-9 pm in the St Michael’s auditorium. The series will be presented by Paul Sansone, who studied Scripture at the Catholic University of America, Washington DC and has been active in adult education and formation for the past several years. Weekend Directed Retreat PERSONAL RETREAT DAY—Sacred Time, Sacred Space Sacred Heart Parish-Vailsburg section Newark: is preparing for their 120th anniversary as a parish. They are trying to track down information on former parishioners and school alumni for celebrations and reunions. As a volunteer for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, I am organizing a day trip to Atlantic City on Sunday March 30.
